Apprentice Studies : Introduction | Phase 1 | Phase 2: Sith, Krath or Obelisk

There is no peace; there is anger.
There is no fear; there is power.
There is no death; there is immortality.
There is no weakness; there is the Dark Side.
Code of the Dark Jedi

Welcome to the Shadow Academy of the Dark Brotherhood, an instution steeped in the traditions of the Dark Arts - to master the intricacies of the Dark Side of the Force. Every Apprentice in the Brotherhood steps through the Academy before entering service as a Dark Jedi, or to die in the pursuit thereof. The path is dangerous, it is racked with peril - and it is the only true path to become a Dark Jedi.

There are two Phases that an Apprentice must undergo before taking their place in the ranks of the Brotherhood; each Phase must be completed, and in the order they are set.

Apprentice Phase 1
An intense introduction to the Dark Brotherhood of the Emperor's Hammer, Phase 1 exposes the Apprentice to the principles of the Dark Jedi, to the history of the Dark Side and to the structure and mechanics of the Dark Brotherhood. The Apprentice will study ardously for a test, and if their knowledge is great enough they will progress onwards to Phase 2.

Apprentice Phase 2
Having passed the initial Phase, and achieving a rudementary grasp of the way of the Dark Jedi, the Apprentice will undergo stringent tests of their knowledge - a rite of passage for entrance into their chosen Order, be it the Sith, the Krath or the Obelisk.

Sith | Krath | Obelisk

Phase 1 is undertaken within the controlled environment of the Shadow Academy and under the tutorage of the Headmaster, whereby the Apprentice will complete a written examination - Phase 2 is a individual test of knowledge of the arts of the Apprentice's chosen Order, whereby the Apprentice will undertake the Doctrine test of the Order they desire.
